Decades later I find myself in the very place I dreamt of as a boy. Hiking new paths with my dogs by my side. Breathing in the sunsets and celebrating each day with the fresh mountain air.

I've lived all over the world and nothing feels closer to home than the American West.

It truly is everything they say it is. I moved to Utah 5 years ago and I still feel like a guest. I raise my children and run my businesses from my little mountain home on the bench in Salt Lake City.

But the real adventure began when I started exploring property opportunities in Idaho and Wyoming. The land is abundant. The views are stunning. But, to put together a build and know where to find the right land and right builders, that is where the work begins. There is so much land that few real estate professionals have a real working knowledge of it all. The topography is different everywhere which can be challenging. The zoning and regulations change from county to county in each state, which can take a dream of a stunning mountainside home and burst that bubble.

A local in one town is not a local 20min down the road.

It truly is the wild west still today in terms of how spread out and sweeping the land is. I wanted to take all I learned and gained from my experience and offer the dream home and land experience without obstacles. The benefits far outweigh the deficits and if your dreams are anything like mine, they are 100% worth living.
